Horizon Properties Group's principals provided the planning, leadership and key private investment for Southpointe, a mixed-use business park located in Cecil Township, Pennsylvania. The creation of Southpointe included the development of Southpointe Golf Course and Golf Club, the Fairway Landings and Ironwood residential communities, Southpointe Commons and several office buildings, all located approximately 15 miles from Pittsburgh and approximately 20 miles from Pittsburgh International Airport. Located in a growth corridor on I-79 in Washington County, Pennsylvania, Southpointe has established a reputation as an economic development catalyst for the region, employing approximately 10,000 people but also fostering the growth of large multi-national companies and smaller local companies alike.
Horizon's portfolio of properties and projects, includes Southpointe II, the extension of Southpointe I that is currently under construction. Connected to the rest of the park by Southpointe Boulevard, Southpointe II will house two hotels, several office buildings, an upscale multi-family residential complex and Southpointe Town Center, a retail center that will include restaurants, and retail shops with studio offices directly on Main Street. As well, Southpointe II is home to the world headquarters for Consol Energy and Range Resources regional headquarters.
Evergreene Technology Park is a 250 acre business park located in Waynesburg, Greene County PA. Horizon partnered with the Greene County Industrial Corporation to master plan and initiate the development of office and high tech industrial buildings. The Greene Tech I office building was completed in 2007 and won the NAIOP Speculative building award in 2008.
