Rod L. Piatt, founder and President of Horizon Properties, brings a wealth of knowledge in all facets of real estate development to the firm. Rod has extensive experience in the successful development of single-family and multi-family residential communities, golf course communities, commerce parks, and office and industrial developments.

Mr. Piatt's strong financial background enables him to view project feasibility with a critical, yet constructive, perspective. In addition to formerly practicing as a CPA, he serves as a financial consultant and board member for local manufacturing and banking companies.

The Horizon Properties team also includes Michael Swisher, and experienced master planner, real estate developer and construction project manager. While serving as Vice President of Team Plan Inc., an international planning firm located in West Palm Beach, Florida, Mr. Swisher oversaw the successful master planning of Southpointe Commerce Park and similar projects throughout the country.
